however, for practical day to day use in patient care, it is not the best resource. The first section is a very extensive section for English to Spanish medical vocabulary (random sampling of terms: rhabdomyosarcoma, dyscephaly, narcotic, sanitize, lenticulopapular). In the middle there is a small section on Spanish grammar including some pronounciation and verb usage. The next section is the Spanish to English mirror of the first. At the very end is a smattering of common questions and phrases (but not a corresponding list of common answers...) Overall, I think this book will get some usage with reading material and more academic situations, however with patient care it is a little too unwieldy and insufficient. Also, perhaps instead of just alphabetical listings, another attempt at grouping by specialty would be helpful. I'm glad to have purchased it, but I will be looking elsewhere for a quick, on-the-fly reference for actual patient care situations. Recommended for those needing help in the more academic/reading type situation. JTG
