Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism Economics of Crime by Hellman and Alper is a very good title if you want to start studying the subject of the economic approach of crime. It is very comprehensive (it discusses several kinds of crimes, like theft, murder, prostitution, drugs, etc.), but it has its limitations, since it is made, in the words of the authors, for an "audience with limited background in economics". If you have a good knowledge of economic theory, you'll probably find this book too simple. However, if you don't have any knowledge of economics whatsoever, this book may be too difficult for you.
