I used to use a brand that costs twice as much. This brand seems so far to work just as well and I am pleased with the purchase. My problem is B12 deficiency caused by age and loss of "Intrinsic Factor" in the stomach to transfer b12 from meat products to the liver. This causes me to have severe "charlie horses" or cramps in the legs, which these patches do cure for me. They bypass the stomach route and put B12 directly into the blood stream like a painless injection would do. The claims of it increasing stamina and memory seem to have merit also, I generally feel better than I did when I ran out of them for a couple of months recently. The bandage stays on well and I have no other problems with it. They reccomend using one a week but, knowing that the liver stores B12 and uses it as needed, I use it as I feel I need to. (I reference the Mayo Clinic Online for my information about B12 and cramps.)
