The speech pathologist narrowed it down to apraxia but would not commit to the diagnosis. Needless to say we were very frustrated. After reading the 1st chapter I felt like a huge weight had been lifted - it described our son perfectly. This book is very technical, I think it is written for someone with a background in this field but I was able to get a lot of ideas from it. His speech pathologist has explained many of the more complex issues. All in all it is a great book!
