Perfect for ambitious 4th year students and junior residents. It will not replace Greenberg, and should not, but is far better for learning during the initial stages of residency. It reads very easily and covers the essential points on most all neurosurgical topics. Very nice figures, diagrams, and tables. I highly suggest every intern and junior level resident start here to establish a framework from which to build a strong neurosurgical knowledge base. Supplement with other Greenberg and other well-known resources as needed.
