Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism Dear Arial encompasses so many themes its hard to decide where to start..love, hate, obsession, adultery, witchcraft, lonliness and the endless fight of good and evil are some of the more prominent ones. In this novel, we follow several main characters on a journey that leaves you guessing and furiously turning pages in anticipation.
The story unfolds in the small town of Eberville, Louisiana, where a young boy, Stephen, is found dead. The town calls it a tragic accident, while his mother screams murder. Stella, Stephen's mother, seeks solace in the comforting words of her long time friend and pen pal, Ariel, who is also rumored to be a witch. Ariel agrees to pay Stella a visit and help her seek revenge for her son's untimely death. There's so much more to the story though, that's difficult to touch on without spending hours explaining the complexity of the plot and all the twists and turns the story takes. This is one you'll have to read for yourselves to appreciate fully.
If you like mysterious twisting plots, you'll love Dear Arial, go out and get yourself a copy and then settle in and enjoy the ride. Two thumbs way up.
