I was an basic and intermediate EMT for years. Intimidated by learning how to interpret and analyze EKG's, it was, by far, one of the most frustrating topic for me in paramedic class. My instructor recommended the "Basic Arrhythmias" book by Gail Walraven and in no time at all interpreting and analyzing EKG's became easy and soon after I was doing it like a second nature. Now, as an EMT instructor, I recommend "Basic Arrhythmias" to my students and I am confident that they will find peace of mind in learning EKG's, just as I did. Thank you Gail Walraven.
