This gadget really works to promote healing and eliminate aches and pains. An added benefit is that it is convenient to use at bedtime or while watching TV--no need to strap or to hold anything at a precise spot. Other "infrared" gadgets can help, but not as much, and not at all if they are too cumbersome to use regularly. One slight problem: the timer on ours is not very accurate, so we use a digital kitchen timer, turning it off when the bell sounds. I am thinking of getting one for the bathroom. I spend at least 1/2 hour daily in the bathroom--why not make it a health-building event?
THE AME TDP LAMP is also listed at Amazon for $170. I believe that the Gou Gang is the "original," but the AME might well come from the same factory. It looks to me like the same thing, and I would guess is just as good. The only apparent difference is in the weight. The Gou Gang lamp is 32 pounds--the AME lamp is 16 pounds. The Gou Gang lamp is very solidly built, even over-built. If you run a clinic and are concerned about it surviving rough handling, then by all means get the Gou Gang. However if you want something that is easy to move around, then the AME is worth a try. ("Just maybe" the AME timer even works better.)
