As a Radio Talk Show Host, I have interviewed Jack Challem over many years. He has been spot on in following the inflammation process and what it does to the body. His latest updated book, The Inflammation Syndrome is a great guide. So many of my listeners are confused as to what to eat and what vitamins to take. Is it a high protein, low carb diet, high fiber or do you trust the governments food pyramid? What is a healthy diet today? Do you believe what the clerk at the health food store claims?
Challem carefully combs studies from all over the world. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition, vitamins and minerals. Some may disagree with his advise he gave out on irritable bowel syndrome. Please don't dismiss the book just because of a small disagreement. Overall, his book is extremely helpful in designing a dietary plan that addresses individual needs and health issues.
