This unique dual laminate construction contains two separate materials formed
into one night guard. 1mm soft interior laminate assures patients comfort and
the 2mm harder external surface assures long lasting durability. This device is
designed for individuals with moderate to severe night grinding or clinching.
Your night guard will be made with a positive pressure forming machine rather
than vacuum former that our competitors use. The entire operation is under the
direct supervision of a dentist with over 30 years in the practice. You can be
assured you will receive a professionally manufactured product.
With your order you will receive:
1 sets of impression material (Part A & B)
1 Adjustable impression tray
1 Return bags
1 Instructions pamphlet

To Create Impression:
Adjust the dental tray to the size of your mouth.
The tray can be made smaller by snapping off a section(s) of the plastic
in the rear of the impression tray.
Vigorously mix both parts (A & B) of impression material together
Roll
into a 4 to 5 inch tube.
Place impression material uniformly into the tray and firmly push onto
your teeth.
It will take about 4 minutes for the material to fully harden.
Remove tray in a single motion, by pulling either up or down.
Rinse tray and seal in enclosed bag.
Complete form and wait 2 weeks to allow your guard to be created.

The company is correct in describing the 2 step process of making the mold, then they send you the night guard. Unfortunately, the night guard does not align with my teeth. It is slightly smaller than my mouth so my front teeth sit on the edge of the guard.
I emailed Sporting Smiles' Customer Service and they responded the guard is tight "like a new pair of shoes" but I should keep wearing it for a few weeks. Well, the night guard is plastic and does not stretch like leather shoes! My teeth are numb and very sensitive throughout the day from forcing the ill-fitted guard into my mouth. The company initially offered to add a "spacer" to help the guard fit better if I continued to have problems. I have sent several follow-up emails and Sporting Smiles has not answered any of my emails. They do not offer a telephone number so there's no live person for me to speak with and no mailing address provided so there's no one to whom I can write a letter.
Extremely poor customer service and a waste of money. I've spent $70 on a night guard that I cannot use because it is painful and doesn't fit. Better off paying a real dentist for a night guard that is guaranteed to fit. I have had my original night guard for over 15 years! You get what you pay for!
