I have absolutely no idea how this is supposed to stay in your mouth. How it is worn is simple... adjust the pads so they reach your back teeth but not past. Little front strip goes between your bottom lip and gums and pads go between the teeth. But there's nothing to keep the pads between your teeth. The connecting plastic strip is too flexible so the pads either flip out or in. In half a minute, I have a mouthful of $30 worth of plastic. And that was when I was awake an consciously thinking about it. I'm too afraid I'll swallow it in my sleep to try it at night.
So this is my list of ever more expensive teeth guards:
1. The Doctor's NightGuard felt like I had a hockey puck in my mouth, protruding my front lips till I was drooling.
2. The sports-like mouth guard version by DenTek works very well and is super comfortable but I chewed through it in about two months.
3. And this one is worthless and the most expensive.
It's enough to make you want to grind your teeth even more! Next stop is the SleepRight Night Guard. It's like this one but has wings on the side and seems more stable.
