This is the same medication you would find in a gel, but the soft brush makes it very easy to target it directly to the pain. This is great for braces, fractured teeth, or pain in the way back of your mouth. Probably also great for applying to kids who might be likely to move their tongue around while you apply traditional gel.
It's also great because there's less likely you'll dab it on other places of you mouth, so you're less likely to feel a numb tongue or taste it than with the gel which slips and moves when you squirt it out of gobs.
My only criticism is that it doesn't feel as strong as gel. I had to reapply more often.
