Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it really started to act up after my baby was born. I know the early warning signs and I wanted to jump on it when my thumbs started to tingle. I had been using splints nightly but only for my wrists, I needed the thumb spica. I do have to say that these splints have helped my wrists and thumbs, and therefore saved me from a lot of pain and possible disability so I do like them. My only complaint is the velcro is super strong. I believe they did this so it would not lose it's "stick" but it sticks to everything that touches it, and pulls on things. The straps are really a pain to open, and since they stick to things they get a lot of particulate matter stuck to them. It's also very noisy to open the straps and if your spouse/partner is a light sleeper, will probably wake them up if you have to take them off during the night (which I do when I feed the baby). Anyway, it's a minor issue since they saved my thumbs, but the makers should try to fix that issue.
