Prima Uņa de Gato, also known as Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) extract, is standardized to a minimum of 0.5% pentacyclic oxindole alkaloids (POAs) and free of tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids (TOAs). The active POAs have been shown to affect the immune cells responsible for nonspecific and cellular immunity. Prima Uņa de Gato also contains quinovic acid glycosides, the natural compounds upon which synthetic quinolones are based. Cat's claw is also known to help promote systemic microbial balance, and support antioxidant activity and circulation. Prima Uņa de Gato contains added minerals and enzymes to enhance absorption and activity.*

Cat's Claw in the non-TOA form stimulates and modulates the immune system. It helps your body rev up the right cells to fight Borrelia burgdorferi, or the bacteria that causes Lyme disease. It helps you feel better with diagnoses like fibromyalgia and Lupus. It is very strong so one starts with a drop a day and builds up - we saw a difference within 12 hours of our first drop. We all take it including our son. Our MD directed us to it as a way to fight Lyme without anti-biotics but it is helpful in many immune system issues.
