This is the only iron product that many people--including me--can tolerate. It is substantially more expensive than many other iron preparations, but I don't mind paying extra to avoid the awful side effects associated with those. (AMAZON'S PRICE, however, was better than my local Wal-Mart or CVS.) I DO MIND VERY MUCH that the manufacturer ignores customer reviews that talk about the terribly inconvenient packaging. Why should loyal customers who are willing to pay more for the product be subjected to trying to wrest these tablets from the packaging? Perhaps people with small children or mentally incompetent people in their households prefer such packaging, but why can't a plastic bottle be made available to the rest of us?
