I read this book with much apprehension because I am tired of everybody trying to make a buck off my health. The "Complete" thing was something that I was totally afraid of. I was just simply tired of all the books that "promised" the best information about Crohn's Disease. The best thing about this book is that it promises nothing but delivers everything. After 7 years of dealing with a disease that just refuses to go away, it was nice to see that someone else realizes what it is like to deal with it and keep a sense of humor about it. Even with the problems of Crohn's Disease, Robert Pilkington delivers the information in language that I can understand and in situations I have actually had to experience and deal with. The real world situations that are shown about the everyday reality of a Crohn's Disease is placed at the right time and in the right place throughout this book. I cannot express enough how this book made me take a look at my everyday life and how I, and I alone can control this disease. It was nice to see that I am not the only one having to deal with the fact the my family and friends have no clue about what I live with. I would recommend this book to every one that has Crohn's Disease and their family and friends.
