Wow! This books was an eye opener. I was researching Cushing's Disease in dogs and I came across this book. It was a great book because it went from visiting your Veterinarian to getting treatment. This book touches on the causes, some of the symptoms, the drugs to treat it, side effects, and diet. My favorite part was that it gives you suggestions and encourages you to shop around for low cost/no cost veterinaries or clinics for you dogs. It gives you options on several websites for the drugs used in treatment. We also have to be realistic sometimes we can't afford Vet bills or the drugs to treat this disease so it gives you ideas and resources on how to get help for your dog.
