About the Author
Tucker Sweeney studied health and physical education at Boise State University before moving to northern Idaho with his wife Katie and their dog Pepper. There they hike, climb, and ski in the beautiful outdoors while living life to the fullest. Carol Thompson lives in the mountains of Idaho on 5 acres with her husband Steve, son Dylan, three dogs, two beehives, and a perpetually weedy garden.

A great read that is very inspiring for those suffering with inflammatory bowel diseases such as colitis and Crohns. Offers very useful cooking and day to day functioning for those following the SCD as well as ideas on how to travel. Overall, a fun read with lots of adventure, quality information, and a honest portrayal of life with ulcerative colitis. Highly recommended for those already on the SCD or those looking for alternative treatment options.
