Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism After using Jarvis and Bates in college, I happened to find a recommendation to use DeGowins instead. Degowins, despite its small size, packs a large punch compared to the usual fare. Its about the size of a nursing drug guide and can be easily stored away for clinical reference in your bag. It contains descriptions and drawn graphics of procedures and possible differential diagnosis for conditions. The index is thorough. Overall, its a great purchase for nursing and NP students.
